Born Marilyn Camille Arado in Chicago Illinois on October 31, 1926, Lynn was raised in Chicago, and always considered “The Windy City” her home. Her father was Richard Arado, and her mother was Martinette (“Nettie”) Madelyn Schwone Arado Slayton. She had one brother Richard “Dick” Arado. She married John Sumner Camp in Chicago Illinois on October 13, 1956.
Lynn was a proud American who loved her Country. A Member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Lynn’s ancestor, Isaac Allerton, was aboard the Mayflower on its trip to America. Lynn was also a lucky optimist, and a sports enthusiast. She was an avid tennis player, golfer, and gin rummy player. Lynn was a caring mother and grandmother, not hesitating to drop her “Pearls of Wisdom” whenever she deemed necessary.
Lynn is survived by her son, Jeffrey Sumner Camp and his wife Julie Camp of Brookfield Wisconsin, and her daughter Jennifer Lynn Lunny and her husband Donald Joseph Lunny, Jr. of Plantation, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristen Elizabeth Lunny of Chicago Illinois, and Matthew Sumner Lunny of Ft. Lauderdale Florida.
