Joan D. Dean

Joan Dean, 74 of Plantation, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014. Fifty year resident of South Florida. She was the owner of T&J Draperies since 1967. She is survived by her husband Tom Dean, sons Thomas F Avera Jr., Sean D Bates, step daughters Tracey Widelitz, Kathy Carden, pre-deceased son Ronald P Bates, sisters Alice Drew, Lois Powell, brother Sam Duncan, grandchildren, Chelsea, Kyle, Kelly, Casey, Connor Bates, Jennifer, Sabrina Widelitz, Kristin Hampton, Brandon Glossup and many nieces and nephews, and many loving friends The family will receive friends, Saturday February 1 at 10:30 am with service to follow at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers please send donations to any children's hospital, American Heart Association, The Diabetes Foundation or place of worship.
