Gloria McDuffie

McDuffie, Gloria of Plantation, Florida passed away March 16, 2014 at the home of her son surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Marion, Ohio. She obtained her Masters Degree, and worked for many years in the banking industry. After retiring from banking she continued to work with the Catch 81 Foundation. While her career in banking was rewarding she came to love the work of the Foundation, and assisting children with all her heart. She participated in the Professional Football Players Mothers Association. (PFPMA), and numerous other charities.  She started each day with prayer, and loved her family and friends above all. She was the life of every party, and could light up a room with her smile and bouncing step. A special fan of the Miami Heat, she loved roller blading, and line dancing.She was the cherished and special Mom of O.J., beloved GG of Otis James & Cameron James, and dear sister of Minnie J. Range, Celia R. Thomas, Cynthia Berry, Homer McDuffie, Jr, Tara L. Dyer, David W. McDuffie, Rocky A. McDuffie, Lisa R. Bradford, Mary K. Brady, Mark A. McDuffie. She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Mary Emma McDuffie, her brother Ricky and sister Nicole. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5:00–8:00PM at the T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston 371 NW 136 Avenue Sunrise 33325. Funeral services will take place in Marion Ohio at Mt.
