This article is to commemorate, and celebrate the Life of Scott W. Baringer. A loving father; Scott’s tough and determined nature provided an unwavering stability for his family and a stable foundation of support for his wife.
Having survived a horrific auto accident, which robbed him of his right leg, Scott lived with excruciating phantom limb pain as a result. Yet, he was known amongst friends for his jokes, fast wit, and sense of humor. Scott learned the value of honesty, and hard work through man tough lessons, which heavily resonated in the manner in which he conducted all his business dealings. Scott struggled constantly against his handicaps, heavy misfortune, and at times, constant bad luck, to ensure he always provided for his family.
Despite his accident, Scott retained a deep love of motorcycles, and was highly skilled as a mechanic, able to diagnose engines purely by sound. He took deep pride in his abilities as a mechanic, and in his two sons.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Doris Wright Baringer. He is survived by his wife, Donna Baringer; his children, Zach Baringer and Cody Baringer; and his three siblings, Stannye Marble, Jack Baringer, and David Baringer.
I never thought I’d need to say good-bye so sudden and so fast, and now I remember regrets and triumphs; all memories of the past. I realize now I am your legacy, a living, breathing, testimony, of the lessons you both learned and taught; the misfortunes, struggles, and battles you fought, were not in vain, were not for naught, For you still live on, your life, your will, are breathing still, and so, for both now, and, for a long while, I will both grieve, and, try to smile. Dedicated to Scott Baringer. Written by his son, Zach Baringer
