Nebahat "Nebbie" Garrett, 87, of Plantation, Florida passed away June 8, 2014. Preceded in death by her son, Mehmet R. Turan, and her husband William D. Garrett. She is survived by her daughter, La'le A. Turan; grandson, Christopher Turan, and his partner, Stephen J. Yanni; and her many family members and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, 11-12 PM, Funeral service Thursday, 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park 2001 SW 4 Ave, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
