Dorothy A. Hughes

Hughes, Dorothy A. of Plantation passed away January 11,2015. She was born in Tylertown, Mississippi to James Sullivan and Mary Ellen (nee Dampeer). She married Arthur Hughes, and were married for over 60 years. He preceded her in death in 2000. She was devoted to her family, and loved having a house full of laughter and family. She was the loved mother of Ellen Jackson, Donna (Bruce) Strickland, Margaret “Peggy” (Sonny) Lane, Arthur “Kelly” (Karen) Hughes; the cherished grandmother of 8, and dear great grandmother of 6. She was also blessed to have many loving nieces and nephews. The Family will gather in Georgia, March 2015 to remember her life. Cremation arrangements by T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home.
