November 19, 1941 — March 14, 2015

Maureen Nancy Hurley, 73. Died after a short illness on Saturday, March 14, 2015. Devoted daughter, loving mother and sister, compassionate human being, untiring advocate for the elderly and US Armed Services veterans. Born in Key West Florida, 1941. Raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. until returning to Florida in 1954. Graduate of Stranahan High School, Fort Lauderdale and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. A member of the US Army from 1963 - 1968. Predeceased by parents, Regis and Mary Malley. Survived by daughter Pamela Ann Hurley and sister Janet Malley Richard. Treasured by her clients and especially by her co-workers at Broward County Elderly and Veterans Services for 24 years, namely Cynthia Smith, Jackie Taylor, Doug Blanar, Bella Lapide, Jesse Marquez, Manny Fuentes, Vinney Parlatore ,Katrina,Sandra and so many others. Friends will be received on Friday from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held Saturday 10:00AM at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Private burial will be held at South Florida VA National Cemetery. Arrangements by TM Ralph Funeral Home, Plantation.
