James M. Borrone, 73, of Plantation, FL passed away peacefully on March 15, 2015. James was born in East Elmhurst, NY to his parents James P. and Katherine Borrone. He grew up in West Islip, NY and graduated from St John’s University in 1964. He moved to Plantation in 1971, from Westbury, NY with his wife and family. He worked 27 years with Eastern Airlines, and spent remainder of his career with the IRS, from which he retired. He was a loving and devoted husband of 50 years to Marieann Borrone. Including his wife, he is survived by his four children: James W. Borrone, Victoria Borrone, Kristina Bookman (husband, Chad), and Michael Borrone (wife, Carla); his two sisters, Ann Wirth (husband, Dan) and Judy McGrath (husband, Owen); and his brother Peter Borrone (wife, Cindy). He was the cherished Papa of twelve grandchildren: Alex, Brittany, Katie, Mario, Mia, Chase, Hanna, Ciana, Annabelle, Marianna, Logan, and Mason. The celebration of James’ life will be on Friday, March 20, 2015 at T.M. Ralph Funeral Homes: 371 NW 136 Avenue • Sunrise, Fl 33351, viewing hours are from 4 pm to 8 pm. A memorial mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1301 SW 136th Avenue • Davie, FL 33325, on March 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm with a reception following.
