Michael R. Green

Michael Green, beloved husband, son, father and brother passed away March 15, 2015. Born in Port Huron To Norman and Dawn (nee Stark) Green. He moved to Plantation with his family, and lived her for over 40 years. He always loved and participated in sports. In 1971, he was a member of the Star Oilers, squirt hockey team, who went on to win the Silver Sticks Tournament. In 2005, he was inducted to the Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame. He loved playing darts, and the NY Yankees. He met his beloved wife Paula, while playing darts. For many years he worked at Pat’s Place, while his parents owned it. In addition to his wife Paula, he is survived by his daughter Nicole, his mother Dawn, his sister Nancy, His aunt and uncle Larry and Debbie Stark, his in-laws Jeep and Jean McLaughlin, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He loved his many friends, and kept long friendships with many people, including his best man Adrian Beard. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark Episcopal Church Flower fund 1800 E. Oakland Park Blvd.Fort Lauderdale , FL 33334 or the Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame in his honor. A memorial service will be held April 26 at Heritage Park Plantation Pavilion 1 from 12:00-6:00PM. A short service of remembrance will be held at 3:00 PM. Cremation arrangements by T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home.
