Nina Chaplar

Chaplar, Nina of Sunrise, FL passed away peacefully in her home on August 1, 2015. She was born in Bayshore, LI, NY on February 25, 1937. She graduated from Cortland State Teachers College in New York and received her Masterd Degree in Library Science from C.W. Post College on Long Island, NY. She had worked for many years as a Librarian within Broward County, prior to that she had been a school teacher. She was devoted to her family and happiest when they were all with her. Nina was a wonderfully loving person and tireless worker. Young children adored her. She had a passion for animals, and special soft spot for Pussycats. If she found a bug in her home, she would pick it up, being sure to release it back to the outdoors. She is survived by her husband of 35 years Kenneth, her children Jolie (Blair) Christoffersen & Fletcher Tufts of Colorado, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, & many other loving family members.Funeral Services were held in Florida.
