Joseph Stagnone

Joseph Timothy Stagnone, 78, of Plantation, Florida, died on August 3, 2015. Son of the late Joseph and Helen Stagnone. Beloved husband of Margaret. Devoted and loving father of his children Juanita, Mary (James), Timothy (Andrea) and Suzie. Dear grandfather of Asia, Chloe, Benjamin, Gabrielle, Olivia, and Ava. Dear great-grandfather of Braelynn. Fond step-father of Danelle (Jody) Barksdale and Robert (Melissa) Dykes, and step-grandfather of Britt, Annelise, Connor and Hunter. Dear brother of Lou (Shirley), Daniel (Pat), and Frank (Tish), and the late James. Joe is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joe was born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1937. He graduated from the College of the Holy Cross, served in the United States Navy, and enjoyed a long and happy career as a teacher and coach at Nova High School. During his retirement, Joe was happy spending time with his family, relaxing, and playing golf. His family cherished him and he will be dearly missed. Friends will be received Friday August 14 from 10:00 Am until the service time. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 at the funeral home.
