Michael Simon Joffee

Michael Simon Joffee, resident of Davie, FL, passed away at the age of 76 on September 21, 2015.Mike was well known and highly regarded in the commercial air conditioning community with over 50 years of experience, most of those years working as a principal with the team at Airtech Air Conditioning in Miami, Florida. Mike was a long time member of the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCASF) which recognized him with their President’s Award for service in 2014. Mike was born in Floral Park, New York to Arnold and Harriette (Hannah) Joffee and is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Kim Rozak, daughter-in-law Kasey Travers, and grandchildren Sydney Gueiros, Carly Travers, Devin Travers and Connor Devore. His son, Gregory Travers, predeceased him in 2012. He also is survived by his brother Neil Joffee, his first cousin Douglas Levine and his second cousin, Steven Zeitz .Mike was a 45 year member of the Gold Coast Region Porsche Club of America where he held various leadership and support roles during his lifetime. His favorite vacations usually included a Porsche event somewhere in the United States. Mike was involved in regional management for most of those years and was active as a National Concours Judge for many of those years. Friends will be received at the T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, 7001 NW 4th Street, Plantation, FL 33317 on Sunday October 4th from 2:00 PM until the service time.
