Evelyn Mary Dendle

Evelyn Mary Dendle passed away October 20, 2015. Cherished Mother, Wife, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her daughter Diane Patterson. She is survived by her daughters Donna and Debbie (Tom), son-in-law Wayne Patterson, brother Robert (Shirl) Barnhardt, grandchildren Heather Marchese, Kristine (David) Montelione, Jason (Alisa) Nipper, great grandson Brendan and numerous nieces and nephews. She came to this area in 1956 from New Jersey and was employed for many years at Winn Dixie. She was one of the founding members of Doctors General Hospital Guild in Plantation, served as its president, was a candy striper leader, and was in charge of arts and crafts. She spent many hours volunteering before the hospitals closure in 1998. She loved traveling, especially cruises, and was a lover of chocolate. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale. The family will receive friends at the T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass Weston 371 NW 136 Avenue Sunrise, FL on Friday, October 23, from 2:00-6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM.
