Victoria Martyna, 92, died peacefully Wednesday, November 18. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Martyna; son, Joseph A. Martyna; brother, Joseph Murawka; and sister, Dolores Zachary.
She was born in Pittsburg, PA the daughter of the late Andrew and Laura Murawka. She and her husband moved their family to Miami, Fl in 1947. She had a successful career for over ten years with the Miami Herald. She then retired to Hollywood, Fl where she pursued real estate full time. Her spare time was spent enjoying the company of family and friends. Victoria was an active member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and later St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She served in many ways including Eucharistic minister, choir member, and rectory volunteer.
Beloved wife and mother, she was always devoted to her family. Survivors include her two daughters, Christine Fedelim and Lisa Martone; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Fedelim, Joseph Fedelim, Elisabeth Martone, Victoria Martone, and Maria Martone; two great grandsons, Michael and Christopher Fedelim; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was best known to all as “Nana”.

Ralph Funeral Home at 7001 NW 4th St Plantation, FL on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Dec. 3rd at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
