William "Henry" Mcfeelywas born in Schweinfurt, Germany on June 29, 1950 to William Arnold Mcfeely and Helene Schmidt Mcfeely and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio at age four. As a young boy, he moved to Miami with his parents and three siblings. Henry graduated high school from Southwest Miami High. Afterwards, he attended the College of the Air Force and received an Applied Arts of Science. He proudly served as a sergeant with the United States Air Force for 14 years and served one tour during Vietnam.
Henry was a devoted and beloved father of Francesca, 19 and Dominique, 16. He dedicated his life to his family and was generous, kind, loving and caring at all times.
He leaves behind his ex-wife and friend, Francesca Watson-McFeely of Fort Lauderdale, and was married for 20 years.
Raised in Miami, Henry was a world-class athlete in his younger years and was an avid golf player. He loved sports and traveling to exotic places around the world and spent many years living abroad. He built lasting memories with his ex-wife and daughters while traveling the globe.
Apart from co-owning a successful advertising and marketing agency, he most recently enjoyed his work as a pharmacy technician and graduated at the top of his class with honors when receiving his certification last summer. Henry had a passion for cooking and was previously a gourmet chef for various five-star restaurants in South Florida.
He loved animals, especially his dog, Puffy and his cats Bonzaii and Simon. He circled himself with his daughters enjoying movies, eating and listening to music.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the T.M. Plantation Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday 10:30 AM at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Plantation. Followed with a military burial with honors afterwards on Friday at 12:45 PM at the South Florida VA National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Sisters of Charity which operates many orphanages founded by Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
Henry is survived by his sister Judith Thompson and her son Scott McFeely and his younger brothers, Daniel Mcfeely and Eugene Mcfeely along with his wife Neva.
Henry's memory and legend will be carried by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and mostly his beautiful daughters. He will always be admired by his ex-wife's family in Chile and locally and will live in the hearts of those who loved him.
May he rest peacefully in the kingdom of heaven with God by his side until he is joined with his children.
