Amanda C. McHugh

Amanda C. McHugh, 15, of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away December 10, 2015. A beloved angel and the youngest child of Patrick and Gloria McHugh and younger sister of Gabriela Johanna McHugh Bryan Martinez and Steven Martinez passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2015. Amanda was an avid equestrian and won many ribbons riding her beloved horse "Bentley". She was a lover of all animals most especially her puppies named "Kaia" and "Mila" and cat named "Baby". She loved make-up artistry and music. She played the piano and guitar. She enjoyed reading, attending the theater and going to the movies. She attended St. Bernadette, St.David, and Archbishop McCarthy Catholic Schools. She is survived by paternal grandparents Michael and Helen McHugh, and maternal grandparents Alvaro Sanchez and Carmen Sanchez. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whose lives she lit up everyday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the The Miami-Dade Humane Society in honor of Amanda's love of all animals. The family will receive friends, Sunday, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home 7001 NW 4 Street Plantation, Florida 33317. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 7450 Stirling Road Hollywood, Florida 33024. Interment will follow. Funeral arrangements by T.M.
