Dorothy Allen George

Dorothy Allen George passed away December 12, 2015. She was surrounded by friends who loved her. She worked at Fort Lauderdale Eye Institute, and retired in May of this year. She was born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania to Roy Allen and Dorothy Dundon Allen. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael. Among other extended family members she is survived by her cousins Maria Lucarine, and Paul Coyle. In her memory donations may be made to the Sunrise Animal Hospital. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 PM at the T.M.Ralph Plantation Funeral Home 7001 NW 4 Street Plantation, FL 33317. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 9:30 Am at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church 200 N. University Drive Plantation, FL. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
