Daniel Albert Barrow Born: September 10, 1945 Died: February 11, 2016 Daniel Albert Barrow of Plantation, aged 70, passed away peacefully at his home on February 11, 2016 after battling cancer. Dan was born on September 10, 1945 in Wilmington, Delaware. He was married on September 15, 1965 to his childhood sweetheart and true love, Jane. He served in the United States Army, and as a Crew Chief in the Vietnam War. Dan worked for AT&T Communications for 30 years. He retired in 2001. He was the leader and bass player for the “Shade Tree Pickers” Bluegrass band. Dan enjoyed entertaining South Florida bluegrass audiences for over 35 years. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, fishing, painting, cruising, and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Jane Barrow; two children, Scott (Heather) Barrow and Jennifer (Brent Herrell) Barrow; two grandchildren, Jordan Barrow and Sydney Barrow; and his sibling Sharon (Doug) Ray. Friends will be received on Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the T.M. Ralph Funeral Home. Memories will be shared at 7:00 PM. Cremation arrangements by T.M.
