Dr. Libertad A. Palma

Dr. Libertad A. Palma, 81, of Plantation, Florida, died peacefully on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Avante Nursing Home, Boca Raton, FL. A dedicated physician, she spent over 50 years of her life caring for and healing countless patients in her three medical offices throughout the years. Devout Roman Catholic, she believed in the miracle of prayer, joining prayer groups and counseling individuals through her faith. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, her family remained a priority. Loyal friend and colleague, she was loved by her friends and by all those whose lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. She is survived by her immediate family, husband, Ricardo. Her daughter, Josie, and her husband, Joe, and grandchildren, Angela and JP; Son, Victor and grandson, Chris; and daughter, Dr. Lucille Frial-Carrasco and her husband, Edsel , and grandsons, Daniel and Dominick; and youngest son, Rex, his wife, Jenny , and grandson, Justin. Viewing hours will be on the evenings of Thursday, March 3 and Friday, March 4, 2016 from 6-8 pm at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston 371 NW 136 Ave Sunrise, Florida 33325. Funeral services begin with a 10 AM Mass at St. Gregory Catholic Church, Plantation, FL on March 5, 2016. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale, FL immediately following the Mass.
