Elfers, Walter William (“Bill”), 58, died Thursday, March
31, 2016. Bill was a passionate cook and loved fishing, SyFy, and
gaming. He is predeceased by his mother, Anne Elfers, and
sister, Cheryl. He is survived by his wife, Barbara K.
Sunshine, her daughter, Samantha, and granddaughter,
Ramona, his father, Walter (Wally), brother, Tom
(Michelle), sister, Donna Leckrone (Scott), aunts and
uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, his dog, Darth Vader,
and his cat, Red Fred. Bill was a Master Electrician who
owned and operated Evergreen Electric for many years. He
was a member of I.B.E.W. Local No. 728. In 2008, he
closed his business and took a job with the City of
Plantation as an Electrical Control Technician in the
Utilities Department where he worked until May, 2015. Bill
and Barb loved to travel to Europe and Mexico, and
regularly traveled to Michigan, California, Ohio, the Keys,
Vero Beach, and St. Petersburg Beach.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. followed by
a reception at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, 7001 N.W. 4th
