Victor G. Lozar was born on October 10, 1920 in revere, Pennsylvania to Frank Lozar and Ana Geng. Victor graduated high school at 16, and obtained a football scholarship to attend college. He enlisted in the Us Navy prior to the start of WWII, and became a fighter pilot. He achieved the rank of Lt. Commander, and flew in both the European and Pacific Theaters. He was a flight instructor and part of the Berlin airlift. He married his first wife, Marjorie in 1950; she preceded him in death in 1971. He married Margaret Balfour in 1977, and they were married until 2012 when she passed away. He taught for many years at Hialeah High School, and retired in 1985. He is survived by his daughters Jacki (John) and Ann (Paul), sons Andrew (Valerie) and William, and his granddaughters Krystal and Ariana, and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Bob and Cathy for your visits, and Vitas Hospice, and his caretakers Jenice, Kym, and Ena. You all are family to us. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Broward County Humane Society or ASPCA, as Dad was very much comforted by his grandog and friend Dora; who was a shelter dog.
