Brian F. Bailey

Bailey, Brian F. age 62 of Plantation, FL. passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 after a two year battle with colorectal cancer. He was a Chief Engineer with the Circle Line Sightseeing Boats in New York City for 42 years. He loved his career and being a part of the maritime industry. He was preceded in death by his father, former Captain Claude William Bailey, USCG; his mother, Dorothy Neideck Bailey and his father-in-law, Dr. William C. Drainer. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jill Drainer of Plantation, Mother-in-law, Mrs. Wilma J. Drainer of Plantation; Brother-in-law Bill Drainer of Lake Placid, FL; Brothers, Bruce (Jacque) Bailey of Bradenton and William (Gail) Bailey of Staten Island,NY, one niece, Robyn of Bradenton and one nephew, Jack of Bradenton. Special Thanks go to Dr. Jose Melo of South Florida Oncology, Dr. Charles Logo of the Colon and Rectal Clinic of Ft. Lauderdale; Westside Regional Medical Center and Vitas Hospice and their caregivers. A special thank you to Dr. Hahn and Adler , Digestive Care Center. Bills family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 12:30-1:00PM at St. Benedicts Episcopal Church with a 1:00PM funeral mass. Interment will follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park.
