James William Farnan Jr, 82James William "Bill" Farnan Jr, 82 of Weston, Florida, passed away, Tuesday, May 3, 2016. A viewing will be held at 9am, Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at T.M.Ralph Funeral Home, 371 NW 136th Ave, Sunrise, Florida. A mass will follow at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Davie Florida. Bill was born March 10, 1934 in Fresno, California to James William and Gay Aleen (Murphy) Farnan. He graduated from Castlemont High School of Oakland, CA in 1951. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He enjoyed a successful career as a federal government employee. He enjoyed cooking and reading. Bill had an unwavering faith in God. He was a parishioner of the St Bonaventure Catholic Church. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marisabel, 3 sons, James W Farnan III of Gilroy, CA, Patrick D Farnan of Oceanside, CA, and Christopher W Farnan of Las Vegas, NV; 2 daughters, Teresa A Barry of Greenville, NC and Linda M Farnan of Ramona, CA.; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister Nancy A Oliver of Hayward, CA.
