He was a very loyal son, a faithfull Father, a dedicated Grandfather, a loving brother, a prayerful Godfather, a teaching uncle & great uncle, and an honest friend and neighbor. He was blessed to be all these special roles in so many lives. Our Dad loved working on and fixing aircraft and it’s instruments. His love for Aviation started with his father, Frank Hill. He would become an FAA certified mechanic to maintain & repair aircraft. He would continue and further his education and knowledge and hold an IA repairman's license. The highest license a mechanic can hold. After the passing of his father, Frank Hill; Our Dad would open up a small business repairing/over hauling/ and functionally testing aircraft instruments like gyros. His business was Master Instruments, which is the name of the business our Grandfather, Frank Hill, purchased in the 1950’s to become Hill Air Co. Robert was very passionate & meticulous about aircraft maintenance! Robert was such a strong and loving soul. He would do anything for you and never stopped believing in family. His work ethic was first class and if our dad fixed it; it was fixed. He taught his kids and so many others their way around a tool box. Also, he stressed the importance of safety while working to aid in the prevention of accidents. Our Dad; a working man. A faithful man. He would do anything for his children and he was always there lending out his hand to help everyone when they had fallen. He will be missed forever here on earth. He loved doing fun things and on the spur of the moment. No need for planning. Just plan on having a good time. Swimming, concerts, ice cream, food J, church, cookouts and family was a priority, always. Hard working, dependable, loving, honest, strong, a fighter, and a survivor. He was all these things and so much more. In the end our Father, Robert Bryant Hill, was a simple man who loved spending time with all his family sitting at the table eating a good meal and making memories. Dad, you are forever with us now. You are in God’s hands with eternal peace and salvation. No more suffering. No more pain. We have a Daddy and Grandpop angel now! Every time we feel a breeze against our face, we hear an airplane over head, or we come up with a new word or phrase or song; we will be thinking about you and missing you. Our time will come for us to meet again, how glorious is this time! Dad you are where you belong, home with your Father, our loving Lord our God. We love you Daddy, always! Xoxoxo
The Richness of life lies in the memories we have forgotten.
