Juliann McDonald

Juliann McDonald passed away at the age of 81 on Thursday, June 9th 2016 at her beloved farm in Davie Florida. She was born on February 5th, 1935 in Butler, Pennsylvania, and moved to Florida in 1961. She was also proceeded in death by her parents, Cathrine M. Hay (mother) and Paul T. Hay (father). She is survived by her sister, Rose Marie Pust, daughters, Debra Wallace, Travonne Evans, Cherise Dallaire,Lynda Perry and Judy Emerson and three sons, Robert Lewis, Dennis Codori, and James McDonald. She was preceded in death by two sons Patrick Lewis and Timothy Codori. She leaves a legacy of twenty-six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her dream was always to have a farm for her family and to educate children. This dream evolved into Old McDonald’s Farm a traveling educational petting zoo. Eventually word spread throughout the local communities about the farm. Numerous requests poured in from the local schools for fertile eggs for students learning projects. This eventually developed into Old McDonald’s Farm which became a well- known traveling petting zoo that specialized in parties and events throughout south Florida. While the zoo is now gone the children she educated, the people she entertained and the lives she touched remain. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM,at Weekly Family Pavilion located at 148 Ave and Griffin Road. Cremation arrangements by T.M.
