George E. Gonzalez

Gonzalez, George E. 88 died Saturday August 13, 2016. He was born March 28, 1928 in Manhattan, New York. He is survived by his wife Betty Gonzalez, his daughter Emily Umpierre and his son Georgie, both of San Juan, Puerto Rico; his grandchild Nanette, and great grandsons Anthony and Arturo. He was predeceased by his son Steven, brother Richard, sister Norma, and grandson Arturo. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 AM until the service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home 7001 NW 4 Street. George was a true gentleman. he was caring, loving and a honorable person. After attending college in New York, He moved to Puerto Rico where he lived for 40 years. He married his first wife Alicia. George was a dedicated member of the Shriners Club. He enjoyed playing and traveling with their band. He was an e xcellent ballroom dancer and loved his computers.
