McClelland, RCM (Radio and Master Chief), William T., 88, of Pompano Beach, passed away on October 21, 2016. Born on February 14 in West Palm Beach, Florida, to William and Inez McClelland Sr. Enlisted in the US Navy at age 15, July 1943 and re-enlisted in February 1948. William served our country honorably and faithfully from July 1943-May 1983. He witnessed the signing of Peace Treaty aboard USS Missouri, between Japan and the US and US Allies. After retiring from the Navy, he worked with SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation in Saudi Arabia). Instructed Saudi Navy personal on modern communications systems, until his full retirement. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Lynn McClelland and one brother, Reverend Lloyd Clyde McClelland (Joyce). Visitation will be Thursday 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at T.M.
