Korissa Marie Ashline

Korissa Marie Ashline was called by the Angels on January 19, 2017 after her brave battle with cancer. Born on May 22, 1983 in Holyoke, Ma.  Korissa graduated Cathedral High School in 2001 and went on to obtain her Bachelor’s degree from Becker College. Korissa leaves behind her mother, Sherrilynn (Henderson) Chelkonas and step-father, Michael Chelkonas of Granby Ma.; father, Frank Ashline of Pompano Beach, Fl.; sister, Tiffani Ashline of Sunrise, Fl.; and fiancée, Milton Soto of Sunrise, Fl. After relocating to Florida in 2005 to be with her sister, Korissa worked as a paralegal for 11 years in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Korissa’s family and friends are so proud of her strength and determination through her battle, and she will forever be missed and remembered. Florida memorial service will be held Monday, January 23, 2017 at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home in Sunrise, Fl. from 6-8pm. Massachusetts memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church in Springfield at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contribution to the Broward County, Fl. Human Society.
