Anne Morrow Osborn Cox, 87, passed away on January 26, 2017 in Plantation, Florida. Anne was born March 27, 1929 in Virginia Beach, Virginia to Joseph N. and Sallye Henley Osborn. She was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, graduated from Oceana High School, 1946, Mary Washington College, 1950 and the University of Virginia, 1953. Mrs. Cox was a speech and hearing therapist and professor who had the privilege of working in the University and Public school systems as well as with Easter Seal and other civic organizations. After moving to Florida in 1958, she became actively involved in family businesses until her death. Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband of 60 years, Frank Woodard Cox, Jr., her daughters, Peggy J. Cox and Sheri Cox Wright, three grandsons, Derek Matthew Wright (Meghan), Kyle Andrew Wright, and Kevin Alexander Cox, and great grandson, Jacob Tucker Wright and niece, Sallye Osborn Bates. She is also predeceased by her brother, Ivan Eugene Osborn. Memorials may be made to Plantation United Methodist Church 1001 NW 70th Avenue, Plantation, FL 33313 or The American Diabetes Association. The family will receive friends Monday, January 30, 2017 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
