Helen M. Roberts

Roberts, Helen M. Passed away Feb 2, 2017 with her sons at her side. A proud native Floridian, she was born in Hallandale. She spent her whole life in Broward County and was honored as a Broward County Pioneer. She moved to Plantation in 1965, and with her husband, James raised a Family. She worked in Banking for over 38 years, becoming a Vice President and Trust Officer.  She contributed to her community being active in numerous organizations, and worshipped at Our Savior Lutheran Church.  She is survived by her son Douglas, Daughter in law Karen, grandchildren, Douglas, Jr, Matthew and Sarah, her son Dave, daughter in law Tonya, grandchildren Colby(Laura), Trent(Kristin) and her only great grandchild Lincoln, brother Ralph and sister in law Betty.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home 7001 NW 4 Street. Funeral Service will be held Thursday 10 Am at Our Savior Lutheran Church.  Burial will take place at Lauderdale Memorial Park.
