Donald R. Ladley, of Plantation, Florida passed away February 17, 2017. He was born March 25, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA. He grew up in Ohio, and attended High School in Cleveland. He attended the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio entering the Civil engineering profession in 1958. He served with the US Army from 1954 until 1956. A Land surveyor by profession, he was the first to be honored by being inducted into the American Association of State Highway Officers. He worked on many important DOT projects, including I-596, Alligator Alley, I-95 and I-75. He retired in 1989, and traveled the roadways with his wife Undine. Friends will be received on Monday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service. A Time of Remembrance, with Military Honors will be led at 6:00PM.
