Anna Parrish, age 79, a resident of Naples for over 20 years, formerly of Long Island, New York, passed peacefully to heaven on February 25, 2017 in Plantation, FL. Anna was a wonderful mother to her two children, and adored by her two grandchildren. She loved to travel and go dancing. Anna was born in the Bronx, New York, and moved to Long Island after she was married. She made a home in Lindenhurst where she worked for the school system while her children were growing up. After her children graduated high school, she took an administrative position at the Accounting School at Long Island University. She retired and moved to Naples in 1990. She is survived by her daughter Pauline (Cathy) Parrish of Sarasota, FL, and son, William (Stacie) Parrish of Cooper City, FL, and her two grandchildren, David and Ashley. She is also survived by her sister, Catherine (Vincent) Grabinsky, of North Babylon, New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist, 625 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108 on Thursday, March 2nd at 1:30 pm.
