My beautiful wife Norma was born on September 24, 1930 in Grandville Michigan to Benjamin and Edith Perrin. She was one of four children. She graduated from Grandville High School in 1948 and was Queen of the Senior Prom, captain of the cheerleaders and lead drum majorette for the high school band. This was her basis for her love of music throughout her entire life. We were high school sweethearts and married a year after graduation. Our family grew from two of us to six with the addition of four daughters, Chari Lee Miles Morrison, Pamela Sue Sullivan, Lori Kay Rubino and Darci Jo Miles (Lori and Darci are both hugging her in heaven right now). Sadly we lost Darci to Leukemia at 16 years of age in 1979 and Lori to breast cancer just two years ago in January 2015. In 1969 we left Michigan and made Florida our home. Norma had a career in two fields, bookkeeping and real estate. But she considered herself first and foremost a wife and mother. Family was always first. Saturday's ritual was always "warm soapy water" and "soft music" filling the air as one and all preformed their assigned household duties. She taught us all how to clean a home, be organized and live happily. She is also leaving behind eleven beautiful grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grand child who will be born and join our wonderful family in July. She was in awe of the sky and cloud formations. She would always ask "wow, can you see that beautiful sky?" Now when we look towards heaven we will say again, "yes, we see those amazing clouds and the beautiful color of that sky". Just saying that Norma will be missed is a gross understatement. I will love her forever. I cherish each and every one of the 70 years we had together. Her loving husband, Bob . Her family will recieve friends on Thursday from 3:00-6:00PM with a service at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
