Walter William Kelley

January 5, 1933 — March 5, 2018

Kelley, Water William (Capt. Bill), of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2018 at the age of 85, with family present. Born in Taunton, MA., Bill was the son of James Edward and Syme Kelley. He attended Yarmouth Schools and taught criminal law at Suffolk University Law School. He served in the Korean War and the U.S. Coast Guard. He retired from the Dennis Police Department as a Detective Lt. Bill was a member of the International Narcotics Officers Association, serving as its President in 1969. He is survived by his loving wife, June (Sears), two sons, James William, Brian Arthur and his wife Laurel, and foster son, Michael Pacheco, grandchildren, James. P., Lee W. (Faith), Christopher W. and Elani M., great-grandaughter Rhea Anne, daughter-in-law, Deborah Klimshuk, sister-in-law, Jean Tripp, brother-in-law, William L. Sears and many nieces, nephews and cousins. All of whom will miss him dearly. Interment at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA, with Military Honors, in July.
