Altagracia Rosa

Altagracia Rosa, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, In Pembroke Pines, Florida at the age of 74. Born on June 25, 1950, in the Dominican Republic, later moved to Perth Amboy, New Jersey, where she lived most of her life before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the summer of 1987. Altagracia was loved by all, devoted deeply to her family and a cherished wife, mother, daughter and grandmother. Her inspiration and resilience will remain in our hearts forever.

Altagracia is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Ismael Rosa, her two children, Diana Capato and Douglas Rosa, her siblings, Pablo Pena, Andy Pena, Johanna Vallejos and Luis Pena, her parents, Jesus Pena and Ramona Pena, her son-in-law, Tony Capato, her daughter-in-law, Holly Rosa and her loving grandchildren, Antonio Joseph Capato Jr, Jovana Lea Capato, Joseph Alan Rosa, Jonathan Douglas Rosa and Joshua Douglas Rosa. Altagracia is preceded in death by her youngest sibling, Fernando Pena.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Altagracia’s life during the services held at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston, located at 371 NW 136th Ave, Sunrise, FL, 33325. The viewing will take place on April 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a prayer service beginning at 5:00 PM.

Following the funeral services, the family of Altagracia Rosa requests the honor of your presence at a special reception, located at the Rosa Residence, at 4200 SW 21st Street, Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33317. Food and beverages will be served.
