Anthony J. Pollio went to be with his wife of 62 years and his Maker on November 21, 2018. After taking care of his wife and being an inspiration to their five children, and twelve grandchildren, Anthony was ready to go home. Tony was the son of Ralph and Mary Pollio (deceased). Known as Tony, Papa Tony, and dad, many knew his intelligence, generous, kind, selfless, and strong nature in all circumstances. More than anything, dad loved his family and was thankful for all the people in his life. He prayed to Jesus Christ for his family every night. He will be missed beyond measure by his five children, Arthur Pollio, Maryjane LaHurd, Susan Frandsen, Michael Pollio, and David Pollio, his twelve grandchildren Dane, Paul, Alex, Conrad, Anthony, Vincent, Natalie, Nicholas, Nicole, Joshua, Eva, and Dominic, his loving daughter-in-laws and son-in laws, as well as his loving and supportive brothers. The eldest of 7 sons, Tony’s brothers include Louis Pollio, Ralph A. Pollio, Joseph Pollio (deceased), Dominic Pollio (deceased), Michael J. Pollio, and John D. Pollio. A viewing and prayer service will be held on Friday, November 30 from 5-7 pm at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, 7001 NW 4th Street, Plantation 33317 A funeral mass will be held on Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church at 10 a.m. at 200 N. University Drive, Plantation 33317.
