Anthony "Willie" Martin Williams

It is with sadness that the family of Anthony Martin Williams (nee Kanraj Rampersad) announces his passing at the age of 89. “Willie” peacefully went to be at rest with the Lord at his home on Monday afternoon March 1, 2021 with his beloved wife at his side.

Anthony will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was: loving husband to his devoted wife of 61 years, Jean Rose Williams “Chin”; son of Mr. Rampersad and Rosie Ali; father to Vincent Paul Williams (daughter-in-law Christine Williams),  Andra Elizabeth Williams-Ramkisoon (Naresh Ramkisoon);  grandfather of  Natasha Williams, Michelle Williams (Jason Hall), Phillip Williams, Richard Ramkisoon, and Ryan Ramkisoon; son-in-law of Alfred and Lucy Gopaul (both predeceased); brother of Sylvia Santlal (“Butwa” Santal), Gloria Hosein (Hamad Hosein), Sheila Ali (Tony Ali), Hassena Shah (Faizal Shah), Rossina Singh (Oudit Singh, deceased), Zalina Ramsingh (Ramesh Ramsingh), brother-in-law of Phillip Gopaul “Danny”, Irvin Gopaul “Saga”,  Linda Bako and Angela Frayne (Bob Frayne); and uncle of the Santlal, Hosein, Ali, Shah, Singh, Ramsingh, Gopaul, Bako and Frayne families; beloved friend of the Jody and Lynda Moore and their family and the Gunpat family.

Sadly, his daughter, Andra Elizabeth Williams-Ramkisson, granddaughter, Natasha Williams, and his beloved friend, Lynda Moore, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Monday, March 8^th, 3:00PM-5:00PM, at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home.  Prayer Service will begin, 5:00 PM, led by Father Hoyer.

Due to the pandemic, details of a memorial will be circulated at a future date, once organized in the home country of his birth where Anthony loved: Trinidad and Tobago.
