Armand Anctil

Armand “Buzz” Anctil passed away peacefully at home on February 22. Born in 1943, he was raised in Taunton, Massachusetts with two sisters - Audrey and Lori, and brother- Joseph. They were raised by their loving parents - Mabel and Joseph. 

Buzz went on to graduate from Florida State University where his love of golf began. He managed several country clubs including Sunrise Country Club where he met his loving wife, Susan. They greatly enjoyed traveling to Alaska, “visiting his money in Las Vegas”, and other parts of the country. 

Together they had two daughters, Elizabeth (Jacob) and Caroline (Michael). 

He also leaves behind two sons- Tim and Tom Anctil, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Buzz was blessed with 6 grandchildren whom he loved dearly. 

He made many friends throughout his career with The City of Plantation.

Buzz greatly enjoyed coaching his daughters in softball and soccer, traveling every summer with the Plantation Pressure, and all of the great friends made along the way. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
