Audrey M. Crowe (née Lacker), age 87, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on January 15th after a brief illness. Audrey was born to John E. Lacker and Elizabeth (née Fuchs) Lacker of Ridgewood, NY, on March 25, 1934. Audrey was married for 53 years to her beloved husband, Arthur F. Crowe, who preceded her in death. They raised a family in Uniondale, NY and moved to Plantation, Fl upon their retirement. She then moved to Henderson, NV, to live with her daughter.
Audrey is survived by her much loved four children and their spouses and her cherished grandchildren: Laura (Crowe) and David Sanchez, Arthur and Natalie Crowe (Emily and Adam), Douglas and Yami Crowe (Douglas Jr., Daniel, Marian and Alejandro), David and Rebecca Crowe (Thomas, Julia and Braden) as well as her sister, Sr. Virginia Lacker, and countless nieces and nephews.
Audrey was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother first and foremost. She was a wonderful cook and demonstrated her love through numerous family dinners and thousands of Christmas cookies. She loved all animals and had many fur (and feathered and finned) babies throughout the years. She enjoyed doll collecting and jigsaw puzzles and her Hallmark movies.
Audrey was a woman of great faith and lived according to her Catholic religion. Most of all she loved her family and showed it daily. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
The viewing and funeral will take place on January 31st at the T. M. Ralph Funeral Home and St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, both of Plantation, Florida. She will be laid to rest at the South Florida National Cemetery beside her husband.
