Barbara Ann (Yesbeck) Goodman was born to Michael and Laurice Yesbeck on August 23, 1953 in Detroit, MI. She was called to Heaven on December 9, 2023. 

Barbara grew up in Miami and had an early interest in studying languages. She attended St. Michael’s Catholic School and Immaculata-LaSalle High School, where she was president of the Pep Club. After graduating and starting a family, she developed a love of baking, collecting antiques, gardening, and anything Disney. Barbara was known for her caring and generous nature. She had a smile and a kind word for everyone she encountered. Barbara loved God and family above all else.

Barbara is survived by her son, Joseph Michael, her sister, Patrice McGowan, her brother, Joseph Yesbeck, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing will be held on December 13 at T. M. Ralph Funeral Homes in Plantation from 4-7 PM, with a prayer service at 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on December 14 at Little Flower Catholic Church in Hollywood. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Barbara asked for donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
