Barbara Ann Link

Barbara Ann (Blasius) Link, 81, passed away peacefully in her Davie home on February 8, 2018.  She was born February 2, 1937 in Laurelton, Queens, New York.  She married Kenneth Link on August 24, 1957 and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2017.    Barbara is survived by her husband, Kenneth, her brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Pat Blasius, and her five children, Ray Link (Muffie Hutchison), Keith Link (MaryLu Link), Cyndi Lopes (Carlos Lopes), Chris Link (Melanie Link), and Julie Norman.  All five children graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale.  She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren, Brian Link, Karly Beecher, P.J. Link, Samantha Link, Celena Lopes, Jillian Link, Taylor Norman, J.R. Norman, Kayla Murray, Casey Lopes (Wenifer Lopes), Jake Murray, and Skyler Link and her four great grandchildren, Mariah Beecher, Isabella Beecher, Jahkayden Welcome, and Jahkaydah Welcome, and many more nieces and nephews.   Barbara graduated from Dominican Commercial High School in 1955 before moving to Broward County where she resided for 55 years.  She enjoyed shopping, playing cards and having the entire family over at her house.  Barbara was a great and loving wife, mom, and nana.   Visitation will be Friday, from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 10:30 AM, at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, with interment following at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to T. M.
