Basil Leopold Lee-Sue

July 12, 1933 - October 29, 2023

Basil Leopold Lee-Sue, 90-years young, was born in Kingston, Jamaica. He was the third oldest of seven children of Elsie & William, brother to Elaine(deceased), Joyce(deceased), Donald, Ken, Cecile and Vic. He graduated from St. Georges College. In January, 1963, he married Patsy, his beloved and devoted wife of 60 years, and they had four children: Andrew (Marilu), Kathy (Jeff), Stef (Tim) and Sue (Sam). In 1977, he moved his family to Florida, leaving his career as a corporate secretary at Cremo in Jamaica. They have lived in Florida for 46 years, creating a new life for their kids to go on and live their best lives. He was a hardworking, dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his six grandchildren: Miranda, Molly, Kayla, Grace, Kelsey and Sammy, and meeting his great granddaughter, Lia, in July. His family was his pride and joy. 

He passed away, peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family.  He now rests in love and peace and we will miss him dearly for the rest of our lives.

As his musical idol, Frank Sinatra sang, he’s “A number one, Top of the list, King of the hill”. 

Our family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all the hospice angels who cared for and treated our dad with such care and dignity, and to all of you joining us to celebrate the long, beautiful life of this family’s husband, beloved Dad/Faddah, grandfather and great-grandfather, Basil Lee-Sue.
