Loving wife and mother, Betsy Ann Brown, 59, passed away August 25, 2018 surrounded by her family in her home in Weston, FL, following a long battle with cancer.
Betsy was born September 26, 1958 in Marietta, Ohio. She graduated with bachelors degrees in Marketing and Statistics from Bowling Green State University, where she was a member of the ADPi sorority.
She started her career with Schindler Elevator, where she met her loving husband Richard Brown and created a family of three wonderful sons. Though work caused her family to relocate several times - her caring spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met and produced a trail of life-long friends along the way.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years; her sons Curtis, Corey, and Avery (and his wife Kylie); her mother, Mary Chilson nee Neff; and her sister, Penny McKean nee Heath. Betsy is preceded in death by her father, Hobart Heath; sister, Janice Heath; mother-in-law, Teresa Brown nee Link; and father-in-law, Raymond P. Brown, Sr.
Visitation will be held Friday, from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at T. M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 9:30 AM, St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her loving memory to the “American Cancer Society”.
