Brian Page Slowinski
6/27/64 ~ 7/31/24
Born in Winter Park, FL, to Bob & Geraldine Slowinski, brother to Susan Dawn & Robert Glenn, raised in Plantation Florida’s El Dorado Estates.
Brian lived and played hard, swimming & boating in the canals, racing bmx bikes, building ramps, forts, and rope swings, hunting snakes, fishing, climbing trees, playing tag and football, surfing and developing friendships and a love for water and nature that would last a lifetime.
Brian grew up to become a masterful carpenter, whose workmanship & competency were unmatched & highly sought out. The luckiest girl, Maria Layun, became his wife & biggest fan, and together they created a beautiful life in Davie, FL, blessed with daughter Paige Bea and son Trent Beau.
Brian continued to live, love, work and play hard.
He developed a passion for palms and orchids, so trips around the world became an opportunity to collect plant specimens, and his yard and neighborhood will forever be a testament to his love for nature and adventure.
To know Brian was to love him. He most enjoyed using his talent to help others, and he touched, beautified and enriched so many lives that the world is a better place for having him in it. Survived by siblings Susan Bates and Robert Slowinski, adoring wife Maria and children Paige & Trent, beloved dog Frog and many cats, extended family Helga Layun, Trysh & Andrew Hamilton, Ricardo, Angelia, Amber & Dylan Layun, Miguel, Krissy & Brett Layun, Christopher, Krista, Carter and Summer Bates, Rob & Cameron Slowinski, and countless relatives, friends, neighbors & associates who will always love and remember the GOAT, Brian Page Slowinski.
His memory is a blessing to all who knew him.
