Plantation, FL - Bruce Smith Bartron, a man who dedicated his days to the world of commercial banking before retiring, passed away on July 24, 2024, in the comfort of his home surrounded by those he cherished and loved dearly. He was born on January 17, 1946, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Bruce's journey through life was marked by his exceptional career as a Commercial Banker. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business which laid the foundation for his successful professional life. His proudest extended far beyond his career. Bruce was an exceptional father, grandfather, and partner. He found great joy in coaching his sons' little league baseball teams, investing time and effort into shaping their young minds not just on the field but also off it.

Bruce was a man of few words but his words carried immense weight and impact to those around him. Bruce's kindness and generosity were unparalleled. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him felt the warmth of his love through his thoughtful gestures and unwavering support. His quick wit and sense of humor brought joy to many around him, making him a beloved figure in both his personal and professional circles.

When not immersed in his work or spending quality time with family, Bruce indulged in various hobbies and interests that brought him immense happiness. He had a deep love for reading and learning about history, finding solace in exploring the past. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed watching games and cheering on his favorite teams with enthusiasm. However, it was traveling the world with his fiancé Rosalie that truly filled his heart. Together they experienced the beauty of different cultures, often finding serenity in watching sunsets and taking cruises across vast oceans.

Bruce is survived by his son Brandon M. Bartron, daughter-in-law Xiomara Bartron, granddaughter Brianna M. Bartron, as well as his fiancé Rosalie A. Burke. In this time of mourning, they hold dear the memories created with Bruce and find solace in the love he shared so freely.

He is predeceased by his father Lester R. Bartron, mother Audrey S. Bartron, sister Suzanne Bartron Wysham Kaufman, and son Darren M. Bartron.
