Bruce Clayton Bates passed away peacefully on October 21, 2018 with family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife Pam, children Shannon Boles & Shane Bates (Jennifer Isaacson-Bates), his sister Suzanne Allen (Richard Allen) & his grandchildren Victoria, Samantha, Gavin & Caiden. Bruce was not only a family man but a friend to many. He enjoyed nothing more than everyone gathering to watch him play his guitar in his band, music was his truest passion. His other passion was his Miami Dolphins. On any given Sunday, if that team was on the field he was either at the stadium or glued to the television cheering them on, a true fan through and through. His sense of humor would either light up the room or clear it, take your pick. Bruce will be missed but never forgotten and as the words say from one of his favorite songs from his favorite band The Beatles, “Hello-Goodbye”, until we meet again.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 @ 11:00am @ St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1301 SW 136th Avenue, Davie, FL. 33325.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5-9pm at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston, 371 NW 136th Avenue, Sunrise, FL. 33325.
