Buckley Dana Parnell, 72, died Tuesday, January 2nd, at his home in Plantation, Florida. He leaves behind his mother, Virginia "Gail" Reynolds; his daughter, Cristina Williams, and her partner, James Laboz; his son, Buckley Williams, and his wife, Donna and four grandchildren. Born May 9, 1945 in Miami, Florida, Buckley was a lifelong learner and passionate about all things water - fishing, seafood, beachcombing and even graduate study in Marine Biology. He was a lifelong Miami Dolphins and LA Dodgers fan and was also an avid gardener, including an incredible orchid collection he kept for many years. After serving honorably during the Vietnam War, Buckley attended Jacksonville University and University of Florida. He graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering and the bulk of his career was spent working in the Quality Control departments for Fortune 500 companies Beckman Coulter and Northern Telecom. His funeral service will be held at South Florida National Cemetery at Lake Worth, FL on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1 pm.
