Carmen Rodriguez

Carmen Rodriguez passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in Plantation, Florida at the age of 90.

Carmen was born in New York City on November 15, 1929 to a large family, and throughout her life, she found family wherever she went.  Her loving nature, always peppered with frank and colorful advice, led everyone who met her to feel at ease.  People she encountered in her neighborhood would begin to think of her as their own mother or grandmother, and she encouraged them to call her “Mama” just as her family did. 

Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Armando.  She is survived by her three children Brenda Burgos, Liz Santiago, and Keith Rodriguez as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Funeral Service: Friday October 9th, 2020 at TM Ralph Plantation Funeral Home 7001 NW 4th Street Plantation, Florida 33317 at 4:00pm, She will be laid to rest with her husband, Monday, October 12, 2020, 10:00 AM, in South Florida National Cemetery.
