On November 1, 2022, Carol E. Gilbert, 80 years young, of New York City, sadly passed away peacefully in her home in Plantation, FL. Carol is survived by her three children Allan, Debbie, and Dawn; her grandchildren Jennifer, Monica, Daniel, Ashley, Ryan, Kenny, Robert, Nicholas, and Bradley; her great grandchildren Ceclia, Isabella, Dominick, Braxton, Hunter, Donte, Tanner, Brooks, and Chloe; and her siblings Barbara, Jonathan, Wayne, and Donna. Carol will be passing peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord, and she will be joining her parents Anne and John along with her brother Bruce in heaven. Carol was known as a happy, warm-hearted, caring, and loving woman who loved her family and was blessed to have raised three wonderful children and be an active part of her grandchildren and great grandchildren lives. She was a generous and compassionate woman who was involved in her faith and was a well-loved member of her community. She was a working woman who was just as devoted to her job as she was to her family. Carol will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends and will always be cherished in their hearts. We are sincerely grateful to the many relatives, friends, and neighbors who have given us support and comfort during this time of loss. A celebration of life service will be held in her honor at Saint Monica’s Church in New York City on December 10, 2022, at 3pm. We invite anyone who knew Carol to attend and remember her wonderful life. We ask attendees to wear bright colors to celebrate her life instead of mourning her death.
