Cecilia Cintrón

Cecilia Cintrón, 55, of Davie, FL passed away on January 5, 2021. She is survived by her 3 children, Olivia, Sofia and Adam.

On behalf of the Cintron/Gonzalez family, please accept our sincere appreciation for all the kind and heartfelt expressions of sorrow and messages of condolence sent to us by so many. Our family has been blessed by wonderful female role models who have shaped our views of the possible and expanded our individual and collective visions for a hopeful future. Cecilia is one of the mightiest of those influences.  Her life served as the best example of how to live a life; an inspirational leader in word and deed, possessing wisdom beyond her years, and a passion to match her aspirational vision of the world. Her awareness of the social and political issues of her time was combined with a unique ability to discuss and communicate with those around her in a way that did not make them feel small or belittled, but rather respected, capable, and worthy.

Cecilia was a daughter, sister, mother, partner, and colleague without peer. She was capable of making all around her feel safe, special, and valued. Her love was fiercely loyal and enduring, buoyed by a patient heart and a welcoming and forgiving spirit. She is gone much too soon; in a better and loftier place, in the comfort of loving parents and other role models gone before her who were as proud of her as we all are in the world she left behind. She will be sorely missed until the end of time. We all Love You, Lady…to Infinity and back!

Visitation to be held at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston 371 NW 136 Avenue Sunrise, FL 33325 on Saturday January 9, 2021 from 12 - 2 PM followed by a memorial service at 2 PM.
